December 2010 -December, Asher handmakes a scarecrow (the word balloon says "Get out of my yard"). The artsy Christmas pictures commence: He gets a letter early (real early, note the lack of sunlight in the windows) Chrismas morning from Santa. Motion friendly action shots while opening Christmas gifts with the family, even one without his 2 front teeth. Big gifts this year were a real HO scale train, a ladybug pillow pet, and Mario Galaxy 2 for the Wii. Some pictures he has a sad face, that is from sneaking way too many Christmas cookies and getting a stomach ache- so at dinner he took a break and played with a new playdough set. Then got buried by more gifts, sad uncle Rick/ happy Asher, happy uncle Rick/still happy Asher. Asher and Mama on the couch, Asher exploring Adobe photoshop (yes, he did that by himself). |

| January 22, 2010 - Asher's 7th birthday party at the Y. The 3 of us quietly celebrated the night before, and this was the big hoo-ha party with his pals. Clowning around in the big play room with soft blocks, playing some games, eating pizza and cake, opening gifts, seeing his pal Ryan for the first time in awhile, and finally at home with Mama and Aunt Stephanie working on the piles of lego kits. New dominant cat added on 1/27/1. |

April, May, June 2011 - A rockin' Easter in Norwich NY, showing a range of emotions with Papa and at the table, some lego work in his room with Mama, and exploring his tunnel and tent. Making some kitchen table art, watching a show with an 80's style headband, Playing Wii with Mama, watching a show and cracking up, smokey-arty-Asher, reading "Too, Too Hot!", looking real tired at 6:30am with deer on a school day, building some new storage cabinets with papa, cheering on his new favorite golfer (Rory McIlroy) at the 2011 US Open. June 26th, a "summit" was had by the Gordon and Gaskill clans, and Asher learns the word "ya'll" and thus began a new career in professional fishing. |

July, August 2011 - July 4th with the Harts and the Bucalo/Gordons, Working on a comic book with papa (in that 3rd picture, I think he is debating art with papa), working on his apple in his tent filled with friends, making & decorating his own cake the day before papa's birthday, playing with the new cat (#5- Rogue), sporting a gap in his teeth, over at the Dorn's they were all told to go outside and this is what happened. (August was a busy month) Our first real family vacation to New York City, (day 1- 8/13) Getting ready to go, waiting at the airport with his giant backpack, on the plane, at the Edison hotel in Times Square, in Toys R us, at Dylans candy store. Mimi burgers for dinner (day 2- 8/14) Waking up mama early, walking all over in the rain, M&M world, the Nintendo store, the Lego store, Rockefeller Center, (not pictured the Metropolitan Museum, FAO Schwarz), Asher all tuckered out, leaving NYC. 8/19 Seabreeze day with Grandma & Grandpa, 8/20 Asher sets up a "help desk" for the Gordon family reunion (his first customer was the new kitten "Rogue"), Asher with his tallest cousin Arthur (Papa took this exact same picture in a baseball hat when he was about 13), his snappily dressed (and snappy comeback king) cousin Barry, with cousins Phyllis & Sandy, Cousin Elaine and Laurie, Group pictures, Asher randomly reading in a tree. |

| September, October, November 2011 - Making some clay animals, using his refurbished apple, sleeping with a crowd, trying on his Cap costume, raking, dressed warm for school one morning, playing his home bongos made for a school project, Asher's interpretation of his class rules in 2nd grade, VIDEO (Click on the last image of the 1st row for the Youtube video), Halloween: pumpkin carving with mama/costuming up (Cap fights villany very casually in loafers)/trick or treating crowd. November 5: Asher gets a haircut, goes to the Children's book festival at MCC, and the Memorial Art Gallery (he posed in front of some of our favorites and the extreme materials exhibition- that giant orange walk through wall- that's bars of Neutrogena soap!) |
