Asher's 1st school play: The Lorax March 31 2010 - Asher and the 2 layer Lorax cake by Mama, prepping on stage as a Barbaloot, it was a kindergarten play- everyone was blurry and in constant motion, Asher decided mid play to lay down on his belly (ha), the big Barbaloot exodus scene Asher put on a sad almost crying acting clinic (we all thought he was going to really cry), and then he realized every other Barbaloot had left the stage (and exited via Looney Tunes hand shake pretend tap dance), the crush to the follow up dessert table, eating the cake, hanging out with Ryan- one of the Lorax, and a drum. |

Spring 2010 - Easter, April 4. On the way to Grandmas we drove through the wildfire at the Montezuma wildlife refuge. Asher dressed and ready for the hunt, and all tuckered out snoozing on the way home. At the end of Spring break- Asher acting goofy at the table, and a family of deer at 6:30am in the backyard before going to school. 4/27: Asher brings home one of the chicks from the Y program for an overnight visit for asherchickpalooza. Willow really did not like the visitor, and we narrowly avoided a repeated of the late March "fuzzy chick" incident that ended with parts all over the house and Asher in tears. Asher and papa in the hammock on a Friday evening. |

| Summer 2010 - Asher has a graduation cermony (6/16/10) from his school program (Chris had some problems figuring out the date!), posing with the cakes he made, posing with his teachers from the Y program, and the ceremony. Asher forces Emma Dorn to take his picture in his kingdom, Spends time with Carrie, and plays at a backyard BBQ (that's his playroom post BBQ). Early July giant sucker psycho look, swimming and watching fireworks and reading with Grandma in Norwich on July 4th, blankie poses and missing a front tooth. Asher looks for justice in his suped up batmobile. Asher and a homemade worm habitrail, showing off his domestic skills with a blanket he made for papa (with tape, staples, and an "A"), and wearing every hat in the house. In August, Asher took swimming lessons at the Y. 50 kids in a large pool, why who wouldn't find that a calm peaceful way to spend a morning? Asher (why I don't know) decides he wants to build a homemade ant trap. |

Late August, September, October & November 2010 - Asher enjoying one of his new cats (Harry) and the house he made for Harry and his mama cat Sookie (complete with veranda). A puzzle that no cat would allow him and mama to finish. His first day of 1st grade, and his first bus ride to school! One day at SAC (School After Care Y program) he fell and whacked his chin. He was self-conscious because it was a bad one, he would only let me take pictures while he ate his soup. Asher in a blanket, and trying on his halloween costume...Batman! Carving pumpkins with Mama and Grandma, and course posing for candy with neighborhhod pals. And the always vigilant dark knight keeps a watchful (yet creepy) eye on me while trick or treating. Home and counting his candy haul. Thanksgiving in Norwich. Giving Great Grandma, Great Grandpa, and Uncle Carmen a huge greeting. After dinner Asher impresses his captain-o-industry uncle with his future in packaging design. He built a treehouse city (by himself) out of paper. |
