August 2010 - Asher took swimming lessons at the Y. 50 kids in a large pool, why who wouldn't find that a calm peaceful way to spend a morning? Asher (why I don't know) decides he wants to build a homemade ant trap. |

Late August & September 2010 - Asher enjoying one of his new cats (Harry) and the house he made for Harry and his mama cat Sookie (complete with veranda). A puzzle that no cat would allow him and mama to finish. His first day of 1st grade, and his first bus ride to school! One day at SAC (School After Care Y program) he fell and whacked his chin. He was self-conscious because it was a bad one, he would only let me take pictures while he ate his soup. |

October 2010 - Asher in a blanket, and trying on his halloween costume...Batman! Carving pumpkins with Mama and Grandma, and course posing for candy with neighborhhod pals. And the always vigilant dark knight keeps a watchful (yet creepy) eye on me while trick or treating. Home and counting his candy haul. |

November 2010 - Thanksgiving in Norwich. Giving Great Grandma, Great Grandpa, and Uncle Carmen a huge greeting. After dinner Asher impresses his captain-o-industry uncle with his future in packaging design. He built a treehouse city (by himself) out of paper. |

| December 2010 -December, Asher handmakes a scarecrow (the word balloon says "Get out of my yard"). The artsy Christmas pictures commence: He gets a letter early (real early, note the lack of sunlight in the windows) Chrismas morning from Santa. Motion friendly action shots while opening Christmas gifts with the family, even one without his 2 front teeth. Big gifts this year were a real HO scale train, a ladybug pillow pet, and Mario Galaxy 2 for the Wii. Some pictures he has a sad face, that is from sneaking way too many Christmas cookies and getting a stomach ache- so at dinner he took a break and played with a new playdough set. Then got buried by more gifts, sad uncle Rick/ happy Asher, happy uncle Rick/still happy Asher. Asher and Mama on the couch, Asher exploring Adobe photoshop (yes, he did that by himself). |

| January 22, 2010 - Asher's 7th birthday party at the Y. The 3 of us quietly celebrated the night before, and this was the big hoo-ha party with his pals. Clowning around in the big play room with soft blocks, playing some games, eating pizza and cake, opening gifts, seeing his pal Ryan for the first time in awhile, and finally at home with Mama and Aunt Stephanie working on the piles of lego kits. New dominant cat added on 1/27/1. |
