Asher Pictures       House # 1

We started second home shopping a bit ahead of schedule in August of 2009.  We were very lucky to find a really nice  setting in Perinton (after seeing 27 houses and being outbid on one).  This house has 1800 sq feet (not counting the finished basement), 4 bedrooms, 2 fireplaces (one gas) 2 full baths, one half bath (all updated), and a nice new kitchen.  The backyard was huge- leading back into woods, and very private.  To the left there are great big pine trees and a 6 foot slope up to the neighbors, to the right it slopes down close to 8 feet to the other neighbor, and the back has a slope as well that goes all the way back to a small storage shed and woods that go up to the top of the surrounding houses up on the street behind us.  Asher gets a new wood playset and a great yard.  We get neighbors that are not right on top of us and mentally ill.

Outside and yard: We eventually want to reside and add a small front porch.  Blizzard 2/26/10 (aw, our first) and follow up pictures

1st floor: 2 living rooms/2 fireplaces, kitchen, half bath, dining room, sliding door access to yard, access to basement. (there are some before pics  of the flat grey paint, and then how we jazzed it up), Our dining room table was a bit tired, so I took it on as an artistic experiment, and we also bought new chairs, and a new kitchen table.  There are a few pictures of the christmas tree and lights.  We painted away the "to sell flat grey" like wild people after we moved in on Halloween of 2009.

Finished basement: (access off of the kitchen) Asher gets a huge playroom/artspace (check out the poster with his name for it "shitophris"), and the other larger half is our art studio (and then there is a back laundry room and tool area with storage).

2nd floor: 4 bedrooms (including a pic of what Asher's bedroom looked like before with bright blue paint and wallpaper, the the flat grey hallway before the color burst), and 2 full baths.  We stripped the wallpaper from the one extra bedroom and made it a work room for Chris, and the other is a guestroom. We have not done anything in our bedroom yet besides re-finishing the bureau and buy 2 new nightstands.
